Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions we hear most from clients planning events in Karachi.
General questions
Which areas of Karachi do you serve?
We serve every area of Karachi, including DHA, Clifton, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Johar, North Nazimabad, Malir, Korangi and the farmhouse belt on Super Highway and Northern Bypass.
What types of events do you handle?
We handle weddings and every wedding function, birthdays, corporate events, religious gatherings, concerts, community events and more.
Can you manage the whole event or only some services?
Both. You can book a single service, such as sound system rental, or ask us to plan the entire event.
How far ahead should I book?
For weddings, three to six weeks ahead, and earlier in the peak winter season and around Ramadan. Smaller events can often be arranged within a week.
Do you work on weekends and public holidays?
Yes. Most events happen on weekends, so we plan crews for them well in advance.
Is a booking amount required?
Yes. A booking amount confirms your date and equipment. It is stated clearly in your quotation.
What happens if the weather is bad?
For outdoor events we plan covered areas and waterproof tents and agree a backup plan in advance. Monsoon dates need extra care.
How do I contact you quickly?
Message us on WhatsApp or call. You can also use the quotation form and we reply with an itemised quote.
Do you serve all areas of Karachi?
Yes. We work in every part of Karachi, including DHA, Clifton, Gulshan, North Nazimabad, Malir, Korangi and the farmhouse areas on Super Highway and Northern Bypass. Tell us your area when you request a quotation, so we can confirm timings, access and any travel considerations.
Can I book just one service instead of a full package?
Yes. Many clients book a single service such as sound system rental, tent house or catering. You can also combine services later. Every quotation is itemised, so you can see the cost of each line and add or remove items as your plan changes.
How far in advance should I book for a winter wedding?
For weekend dates from November to February, aim for three to six months ahead, since venues, decorators and caterers book early. Smaller functions and weekday events can often be arranged sooner, depending on availability, so send your date early and we will confirm what is possible.
Do you provide a coordinator on the event day?
Yes. For planned events, a coordinator stays on site to manage vendors, timings and requests, so the host can focus on guests. We share a written run sheet in advance, and the coordinator keeps decor, sound, catering and photography aligned throughout the event.
Quotations and pricing
How do I get a quotation?
Use the quotation form on this website and choose email or WhatsApp. Include your date, area, guest count and the services you need.
How soon will I receive the quotation?
Usually within a few hours during working hours. Complex events may need a site visit first.
Is the quotation free?
Yes. Quotations are free and carry no obligation.
What affects the price?
Date and season, guest count, venue, duration, equipment, menu and travel distance.
Can I change the quotation after receiving it?
Yes. We adjust services and quantities until the plan fits your budget.
How do I pay?
Payment methods and schedule are listed in your quotation. A booking amount is paid first and the balance before or on the event day.
Is the quotation really free?
Yes. Requesting a quotation is free and carries no obligation. Send your date, area, guest count and the services you need, and we reply with an itemised price. You can adjust the quotation, ask questions and decide at your own pace before confirming any booking.
What information do you need to prepare a quotation?
The more detail, the more accurate the price. Share the event type, date, area or venue, expected guest count and the services you want. If you have photos, colour ideas or a budget range, include them, because they help us suggest realistic options for your event.
Can I change the quotation after I receive it?
Yes. Quotations are itemised so you can remove, swap or add lines. Many clients adjust decor, counters or equipment to fit a budget. We will update the quotation, explain the difference in price and confirm the final scope in writing before you pay a booking amount.
How do I confirm a booking?
Once you approve the quotation, we confirm the date and scope in writing and ask for a booking amount to hold the date. The balance is paid according to the agreed schedule. Terms such as changes and cancellations are explained clearly before you commit, so there are no surprises later.
Services and equipment
Do you rent equipment without setup?
Delivery, setup and an operator are standard, because equipment works best when handled by our crew.
How do I choose a sound system?
Share your venue type, whether it is indoor or outdoor, and the guest count. We will recommend a setup.
Can you provide generator backup?
Yes. We supply silent generators sized to your load.
Do you work with fresh flowers?
Yes. We design with fresh, artificial or mixed flowers depending on your budget and season.
Can you set up tents in a street or society lane?
Yes, subject to local permission. We advise on the steps.
Do you offer photography and video together?
Yes. Photo and video packages are available together or separately.
Do you provide operators with your equipment?
Yes. Sound, lighting, screens and generators come with trained operators or technicians who set up, test and stay through the event where needed. This avoids the common problem of equipment dropped at a venue with nobody to run it, and gives the host one point of contact.
Is backup equipment included?
We bring spare cables, microphones and key items as standard, and recommend backup speakers, lighting or generators for larger or outdoor events. Backup is listed in the quotation, so you can decide what level of protection suits your event and budget.
Can you match decor to my outfit colours and theme?
Yes. Share colours, outfit photos or reference images, and our designers propose flowers, drapes and lighting that match. We confirm the concept and an itemised quotation before booking, and we adjust details after a site visit if the venue requires changes.
Do you handle setup and cleanup?
Yes. Our crews arrive before the agreed setup time, build, test and walk you through the setup. After the event, they dismantle, remove equipment and leave the area tidy. Cleanup is listed in the quotation, so there are no surprises on the day.
Events and planning
Can you plan a complete wedding week?
Yes. We plan dholki, mehndi, barat, walima and other functions with a single schedule and team.
Do you plan small events?
Yes. We plan events from about 20 guests upward.
Can you plan an event at my home?
Yes. We plan sound, tents, decor and food for homes, lawns and terraces.
Do you handle corporate invoices?
Yes. We provide itemised quotations and invoices for companies.
Can you arrange religious gatherings?
Yes. We arrange milad, Quran khwani, majalis and iftar events with respect for the occasion.
Can you plan Ramadan iftar events?
Yes. Iftar events are planned with precise timing for food and prayer space.
Can you plan an event at short notice?
Often yes, depending on availability. Smaller events, religious gatherings and home functions can sometimes be arranged within days. For large weddings and winter weekends, short notice is harder, so contact us as early as you can and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
Do you plan small home events as well as large weddings?
Yes. We plan events from a dozen guests at home to several hundred in a hall or farmhouse. Home events use compact sound, decor and catering, and we check access, parking and neighbours in advance so the setup is smooth and considerate.
How do you handle religious gatherings and sensitive occasions?
With respect and discretion. We plan seating, shade, clear low-key sound and food around prayer times and your family or community practices, and we keep staff briefed and quiet. For milad, Quran khwani, majalis and condolence gatherings, we follow your guidance on arrangements.
Can you manage the full wedding week?
Yes. Our wedding planning covers dholki, mehndi, barat, walima and other functions, with a run sheet for each. You can hire us for the full week or only for selected functions, and we coordinate with any vendors you have already booked.
Venues and farmhouses
How do I book a farmhouse in Karachi?
Tell us your date, guest count and budget. We shortlist suitable farmhouses, arrange visits and confirm the booking.
Do farmhouses include decor and catering?
Usually the venue is separate. We arrange decor, sound, tents, catering and transport.
How many guests can a farmhouse hold?
Farmhouses range from about 50 to well over 1,000 guests. We confirm capacity during the visit.
Can you arrange a hall for 500 guests?
Yes. We recommend halls by guest count, area and budget.
Do you manage permissions with venues?
Yes. We coordinate with the venue about timings, sound levels and access.
Do you charge for venue shortlisting and visits?
We include shortlisting and visits as part of planning when you book our services. We compare capacity, rules, power, parking and costs, then visit with you. If you only want a shortlist, ask when you request a quotation and we will explain what is included.
What if the venue does not allow outside vendors?
Some halls and hotels require in-house catering or approved vendors. We confirm rules early and design the plan around them, using the venue for catering and supplying decor, sound, lighting or entertainment where it is permitted, or suggesting a different venue.
How do I choose between a hall and a farmhouse?
Halls offer air conditioning, bridal rooms and weather protection, while farmhouses offer space, privacy and flexibility but need tents, power and transport. Consider your guest count, season, budget and travel time, and we will itemise both options so you can compare the total cost.
Can you manage a venue visit for me?
Yes. We arrange visits, check access, power, layout and rules, and report back with photos and a comparison. If you prefer to join, we visit together and note questions for the venue manager, so you leave with a clear picture of each option.
Catering
Can we arrange a menu tasting?
For wedding menus, yes. Tastings are arranged after the booking amount, or on request for large events.
How do you calculate quantities?
From the guest count, menu and event type, with adjustments to avoid shortage or waste.
Do you offer vegetarian options?
Yes. We include vegetarian dishes in every menu on request.
Do you provide crockery and waiters?
Yes. Service staff, crockery, cutlery and buffet setup are included in the quotation.
Is the food cooked on site?
Where the venue allows it. Otherwise we cook nearby and deliver hot.
Can I taste the menu before the event?
Yes. For wedding menus we arrange a tasting of the main dishes, so you can approve flavours, spice level and portions. We then confirm the menu, guest count and price per head in writing, and note any changes you request after the tasting.
How do you manage large guest lists?
We plan one double-sided buffet line for every 100 to 150 guests, add live counters to split the crowd, and use enough serving staff to refill dishes quickly. We also plan hot holding and a second round of naan and desserts, so food stays fresh through the service.
Do you cater small gatherings and home events?
Yes. We cater events from small family dinners to large weddings, and home events are served with staff, crockery and cleanup. For small gatherings, we can offer packed trays or a full served meal, depending on your menu and the space available.
